Your skin reflects the state of your overall health. If your body is not healthy, your skin won't be, either. Conversely, habits that improve your overall health can do nothing but good to your skin too. Here are some good habits that can improve your overall and skin health.

1. Eat a balanced diet rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein, and plenty of water. Avoid excess fat, sugar, and salt.

2. Exercise. Aside from strengthening your muscle and bones and helping maintain a healthy weight, exercise improves circulation and relieves stress.

3. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes. Both contain massive amounts of free radicals, which contribute to aging and disease.

4. Get enough sleep. Sleep is a vital time for your body to heal and repair itself.

5. Smile!!! A positive disposition is probably one of the most effective anti-aging treatments around.
